Steven Memberg has over 20 years of water resource investigations and regulation experience. He previously was a Chief Scientist with the South Florida Water Management District (SFWMD) focused on water policy in the Regulation Division responsible for regional and statewide issues such as consumptive use permitting consistency, the Central Florida Water Initiative (CFWI), regional water supply plans, minimum flows and levels, water reservations, and legislative analyses. He also has worked at the federal and county levels, for the United States Geological Survey (USGS) and Broward County, respectively,  in addition to consulting in for private industry. As Florida does not provide many opportunities to discuss volcanoes and glaciers, Mr. Memberg is also an adjunct faculty member of Palm Beach State College teaching Earth Science. Mr. Memberg is a registered professional geologist in the State of Florida.
